Happy Friday friends, and if you’re in the northeast, happy winter storm weekend! I am actually so looking forward to getting snowed in this weekend with minimal obligations. I’m already planning to start my new book, The Paper Palace, and maybe try out a new recipe or two. I’ve been craving a new soup dish and I’m thinking of concocting one with white beans – they are so hearty this time of year. This recipe is one of my all time favorites, so I may find a variation of that!
Other items on the to do agenda include finishing up sewing our new Rush House rug for the living room. I’m loving the vibe it’s giving our space. I’m aiming to add more natural and organic textures into our living area, and I love how the addition of the natural fiber completely changes the mood of our existing furniture. It’s always so fascinating how changing one element can completely transform a space!
Other than that, I’m looking forward to cozy evenings of reading, and potentially starting The Guilded Age! I’ve heard so many great things about it already. Happy weekend, friends! x
