It feels so crazy to be sitting down to write a blog post! It’s been almost two months since my last post on here – which is definitely the longest I’ve gone in my few years of blogging. There’s a lot to catch up on though, so let’s get right into it!
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the wedding is only a few months away! Our wedding planner, Lauren (from LionHouse), has been AMAZING! Everyone in our lives has really teamed up to help us get our big day planned, but having her to keep us on track and help us sort through all of our options has been a lifesaver. I’ll be going more in depth about wedding planning as we get closer to the day – stay tuned for some fun wedding content coming your way.
We’ve been working slowly but surely here at home to renovate, but with the wedding & several trips coming up in the next few months, our priorities have shifted away from the house slightly. I’ll be posting sneak peeks on stories – we are just about finished in the bedroom, and are working on our office at the moment. We made a trip to IKEA this past weekend and found some of the cutest light fixtures for half the price of what we anticipated – such a win!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 Prep
It’s that time of year already! If you haven’t shopped the sale before, let me fill you in on why this is the best sale of the year. Unlike how most sales are merchandise that is about to go out of season, the Anniversary Sale is brand new Fall/Winter 2018 merchandise. It is on sale as soon as it hits the floor, but prices will go back up to normal after the sale is over. It’s the best time to stock up on anything you may need for the season ahead. If you’re a Nordstrom Card holder, you will have early access to the sale starting July 12th. If you aren’t yet a card holder, you can sign up here. If not, the sale will open to the public on July 20th, and run until August 6th. The catalog was just released this week, so I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites below – I’m already so excited to start shopping!
