This year has been one like we’ve never seen before, so I think it goes without saying that the holiday season will follow suit. For my family, we’re creating new festive traditions this year to try to still embrace the season. Though I’m sad that we can’t be together quite as much as we used to, I’m looking forward to experiencing new ways of celebrating and a smaller and more casual holiday season.
When I imagine what my wardrobe will be the next couple of months, I picture something like this look here. A cozy sweater dress and some comfortable shoes. I’m 100% planning on wearing a sweater dress for Thanksgiving dinner this year. It’s just enough to make me feel like I dressed up, but also super cozy and fitting for a more laid-back holiday. Plus, you can eat all the stuffing you want and no one will ever know!
I’m rounding up a few of my favorite sweater dresses I’ve found under $70 at the end of this post. This one is mine (it’s only $30 and comes in 4 gorgeous colors), and I’m thinking of also grabbing a more neutral one like this!
Some of my other favorite ways to style sweater dresses are with knee high boots like these, or with a pair of comfy sneakers for super causal days. When the weather gets cooler, they also look so cute with a pair of black tights (I love these polka dot ones) and booties!
