I mentioned earlier this month that I’ve strategically mapped out my spring/summer ’23 wardrobe purchases to keep myself from impulse purchasing, but also to help myself curate a really well-rounded capsule closet with items I truly love and will wear.
On my list for this month:
– a colorful striped button up | I fell in love with this one by Yaitte when I first saw it and it did not disappoint! The fabric has a really nice structure to it without feeling too formal. I’m already picturing it styled over swimsuits or with a little linen skirt in the summer.
– a raffia hat for spring/summer | I regretted not getting this crochet cutie from Jenni Kayne last spring before it sold out, so I grabbed it early this year while the sale was happening. It’s a perfectly floppy and oversized fit–perfect for days at the park or beach!
– a cute white t-shirt | This adorable pointelle tee kept popping up on Instagram ads, so I finally got it. It’s pricey for a t-shirt, but I’ve already gotten so much wear out of it. I love the dainty details on the neckline and how the fabric adds a bit of extra texture to my outfit (note: I sized up two sizes in mine–runs so small).
– date night top | I have yet to purchase a flirty date night top–I couldn’t quite find one that really spoke to me, so I’m holding off on this purchase for now! A couple of contenders are this one and this one, but I’m still undecided.
– a perfect fitting pair of denim | I’m coming down to the wire on this one… planning to place an order for a couple to try out today! I’m really curious about the Khaite Danielle and AGolde 90’s Pinch Waist denim. I’ll share on stories if I end up loving either!
