Skincare I Swear By

Let’s talk about skincare…

During a recent discussion with skincare about Ryan, I made a realization about my skincare cupboard. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to test out so many skincare ranges over the years – from luxury brands like La Mer to all-natural collections like OSEA, I’ve tested and loved several brands.

However, after years of trial and error, I’ve found a handful of products that I can 100% say I’d purchase again, are worth the money, and I can honestly tell in difference in my skin from using them. [And no, this isn’t sponsored in any way, shape, or form.]

If you asked for one or two recommendations of my absolute best finds, here’s what I’d tell you…

Cleansers

Tula Purifying Cleanser | Other than Micellar Water, this is the only thing I use to wash my face. I usually only use it in the evenings (I like to use all the Tula products together at night) to gently remove my makeup and oils from the day. It’s super gentle and actually leaves my skin feeling super fresh and clean. Added bonus: it smells so nice!

Toners + Serums, etc.

Tula Revitalizing Eye Cream | I used this product in combination with the three other Tula products I’ve shared for about two weeks straight before noticing how much brighter my eye area looked. I remember I washed all my makeup off once night and was amazed that my skin almost looked better with my makeup off. I attribute that to this product – it is very gentle and makes a massive difference minimizing the appearance of fine lines and dark circles.

Tula Volume Defense Deep Wrinkle Serum | I’ve tried SEVERAL serums in my day, and this is the one I see the most consistent benefit from. My skin always looks more hydrated and plump when I wake up in the morning, and I can honestly see a difference in the evenness and overall health of my skin. Highly recommend!

Moisturizers

Tula Hydrating Day & Night Cream | I use this moisturizer twice a day – once in the morning and then right before bed. It’s the perfect lightweight yet hydrating cream for my skin. A little goes a long way, and it smells like summer – which is a win in my book!

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask | Though this product says “mask,” I’ve used it SO many different ways. I typically use it as a moisturizer/overnight mask on days when my skin feels extra dehydrated. I’ll also use it in the morning right under my eyes to help with puffiness. It can also be used as a primer – the options are endless!

Face Masks + Peels

Summer Fridays Overtime Mask | This is for sure my most used mask. I love to do this 2-3 times a week, and follow it up with the Jet Lag Mask. It helps peel away any dead skin and in just ten minutes my skin is the softest it has ever been. This mask also smells like pumpkin and it’s amazing!

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel | Full disclosure, I’ve only tried this product once. With that said, it was hands down one of the best products I’ve ever used. It’s a little pricy (which is why I haven’t purchased it yet), but I saw instant results in my skin. It was so hydrated and smooth and felt like I was fresh out of a facial. These peels are everything!

Daily SPF

Supergoop! Superscreen Daily Moisturizer SPF 40 | Up until recently, I was pretty irresponsible about using sunscreen unless I knew I was going to be in the sun. However, the older I’ve gotten, the more I realize the importance of using SPF on a daily basis. This one has great protection and is light enough to wear flawlessly under makeup.
