It’s so crazy to think that the end of summer is already almost here! It feels like just yesterday that I was putting together my plans for Memorial Day weekend, and now Labor Day is just around the corner. I still feel like there’s so much left to do with the remaining days before the weather turns cool. Though it’s definitely flown by (as always), Summer 2018 has been a good one. From late evenings on the porch with friends, to spontaneous trips to watch the sunrise at the beach, we’ve been able to make the most of the long sunny days, and created some wonderful memories.
One surprising thing I learned about myself this summer (as you may have noticed from my feed), is my serious love of color! I’ve always claimed to be a neutrals girl – blush pink was as colorful as my wardrobe got. However, sometime around early summer, I started incorporating more color into my daily looks – I blame this dress for making me addicted to color! Ever since, I’ve been loving adding pops of mustard and red into my wardrobe. This sweet little wrap blouse from Heartloom is easily a favorite. I’m also tempted purchase this dress in the same print – how cute would it be layered with a jacket come fall?
