Hello from the Korakia Pensione in sunny Palm Springs, California! This part of the trip was definitely one of the best. Staying at the Korakia has been on my list for years, so naturally, this was one of the most highly anticipated parts of the trip for me. The Moroccan and Mediterranean themed resort has a completely soothing and relaxed vibe, making it the perfect environment for grabbing a good book and lounging by one of the two gorgeous salt water pools for the day!
As soon as we made our reservation, I immediately knew it was going to require a little bit of shopping – especially in the swimwear department! Truthfully, I have the hardest time shopping for swim. As of last summer, I had one bikini and one one-piece swimsuit, and those were the only two I was actually comfortable wearing in public.
I was so happy to be introduced to Orchid Boutique’s own line of swim just before I left on my trip! I couldn’t ask for a more sleek and chic swimsuit that still fits so comfortably! It was definitely the most confident I’ve ever felt in a suit. This one is called “The Molly Lulu” Bikini, and I can’t say enough good things about it.
The material hugs perfectly, but the lack of elastic around the waistband keeps the suit from digging in in the wrong places (you girls know what I mean)! Stay tuned next week for a peek at another swimsuit of theirs I took with me on the trip – it’s the complete opposite but still a favorite!
