My Coffee Table Book Collection

Someone asked me for this round up last week on Instagram, and I don’t think I’ve ever actually made a post about it! I have spent an embarrassing amount on coffee table books. While I used to buy them just for the covers, a few years ago I made it a habit to sit and actually flip through them during my morning coffee. They always give me endless inspiration — the interiors ones in particular. I have a few favorites I’ll list below, but otherwise scroll for a look at my collection!

I purchase most of mine either at local bookstores, on Amazon (I find new ones easily on Amazon by looking at “others also bought” under ones I’ve purchased, ThriftBooks or Abe Books for lightly used. Others have asked how I find new books – I love to browse bookstores, but if I’m looking for a particular one decor-wise, flip through your favorite design mags and catalogs to see which they use or styling during photo shoots (CB2 is great for this!).

PS. I remove covers from a lot of my books if you ever see mine with a different looking spine. I’ll also do a second roundup post for my favorite cookbooks – I have equally as many of those!
