I can’t say enough good things about my most recent stay at Wildflower Farms, the newest Auberge Collection resort! I was fortunate enough to escape the city for a quick overnight stay with the Tuckernuck team the other week, and I’ve been dreaming about returning ever since. The stunning 140 acre property sits just a quick 90-minute drive outside of New York City and is the most calming retreat into nature. The entire property is seamlessly integrated into the meadows of nature and woodland of the Hudson Valley, creating a perfect blend of luxury resort and natural hideaway. The property houses 60 free-standing cabins and cottages that are immersed with nature–and trust me when I tell you the design inspiration here is endless! I was taking notes of every material, natural accent and use of pattern. From the sore-muscle balm on the nightstand, to the custom cozy throw to curl up under on the porch, every detail is so well thought through and beautiful!
The property also features some incredible amenities and activities–I can’t imagine needing to leave once during a stay. The restaurant at Clay was extraordinary… the seasonal cocktails and breakfast were two standouts from the trip! SO flavorful and indulgent in the perfect ways. We enjoyed a cocktail on the Great Porch by the roaring fire before heading to dinner and it was the perfect way to unwind from the day.
Another highlight of the trip was a quick visit to the spa, Thistle. I didn’t have time to experience a treatment while there, but I did carve out an hour to use the dry sauna and hot tubs outside–not to be missed! The wellness center is rooted in nature, offering a revolving treatment menu reflecting the season. I also enjoyed a relaxing yoga glass and pottery making class during my stay–truly such unique experiences!
