Fall Mantle Styled Two Ways

My mantle is one of my favorite places in my home, so naturally, it’a an area I find myself tinkering with and rearranging often. I’m sharing two different fall looks today, as well as a roundup of some of my favorite autumn mantle decor. The looks both include traditional styling elements like vases, faux stems and candles with just a couple of differences. Once you have some basic building blocks in place, you can have fun making it your own with little accessories.

Because my mirror is the focal point of my mantle, I like to use that as my starting point and add any foliage and decor around it. During the autumn months, I like to add touches of the outdoor through faux branches and stems. My favorites are dried eucalyptus in an oxblood hue, copper leaf branches, or a more colorful oak leaf variety.

Once my foliage is in place, I like to play around with brass and iron accents to warm up the space. I also incorporate natural elements during the fall and winter for a slight outdoor rustic charm. To add some visual interest, play around with varying heights with items like candlesticks, leaning picture frames, and small accent items. I like my mantles to have an asymmetrical balance to them, having one side pull your eye upwards.
