My mom recently told me I need to have more whimsy in my life… and while I don’t think the silk DÔEN shorts are exactly the kind of whimsy she had in mind, this is my version of it. By definition, whimsy is: a thing that is fanciful or odd, extravagant, or excessively playful expression.
Naturally, I heard that I need to find ways to incorporate more fanciful play into my life, starting with my home and wardrobe. And so, Everyday Whimsies, the series, was born. A thoughtful round up of whimsies–things catching my eye that may or may not ever get purchased, but make me feel extravagant and excited just by looking at them.
My hope is to help you find a few things to help add a bit more whimsy into your everyday!
