Every Loloi Rug I’ve Owned + My Honest Review

I vividly remember the day I received my first Loloi rug. I had been in a I-want-everything-to-be-a-shade-of-white phase, and the runner I purchased for my kitchen was my “daring pop of color.” The vintage look for the budget-friendly price tag sold me on giving it a try, even if I hated it. Well, ten Loloi rugs later, it’s safe to say it was love at first sight.

My tenth one is part of an exciting collaboration for the brand with one of my favorite interior designers, so it felt like a nice milestone to do a roundup of every Loloi rug I’ve ever owned. I had to dig back in the archives to find some of these, but here is a look at every Loloi rug I’ve had in both my NC home and our NYC apartment.

Loloi II Loren in Red/Navy

Rug | Faucet | Pendant Lights | Wall Pegs

This was my very first one! The day I got it, I remember being so in love with the muted colors and the stunning pattern that I immediately went in search of one for our library. I was so impressed with the quality for the price point and loved the low-pile, making them the easiest rug to clean. This runner is still a favorite to this day (it’s currently in storage but I may bring it back out at some point).

Loloi II Layla in Olive/Charcoal

Rug | Mirror | Vase | Clock

This was my second, but first full size, and I loved it. I still recommend it to this day – we brought it to NYC with us and while it didn’t survive potty training Astor, it’s one I would purchase again. The green and blue tones in it are so beautiful and I found it was a very versatile pattern for a lot of decor styles. I also had the runner version of this at one point but re-homed it shortly after moving.

Loloi II Layla in Antique/Moss

Rug | Sofa | Coffee Table

After getting my first full size rug, it inspired me to change out the others in my house. The Layla was coming out in this new colorway, so I added it to our living room, layered on top of a neutral rug and I really loved how this looked. The soft green tones were so calming and I think this would be really beautiful in a nursery or office space.

Loloi Theia in Natural/Rust

Rug | Dining Table (similar) | Dining Chairs | Wallpaper

This rug as in our dining room in North Carolina and briefly in our “office” space in our apartment. It is a thicker pile than the previously mentioned styles and has a much more subtle print, but it’s still really beautiful! It’s nice when you want something with a little texture and dimension, but not a full-on, super colorful pattern.

Loloi II Layla in Spice/Marine

Rug | Coffee Table | Wall Shelf | Curtains | Sofa

When we moved, I really wanted to change up our color scheme and incorporate some richer jewel tones into our space, so I opted for one of the my favorites styles (Layla) in the spice colorway and I love this rug. It’s still one of my favorites, but sadly also didn’t make it through Astor’s puppy phase. I would absolutely purchase this style again at some point.

Loloi II Saban in Ivory

Rug | Mirror | Coffee Table

I wanted to switch things up and try one of the less traditional “vintage” prints Loloi had to offer, so I landed on this rug and really love how it brightened our space. This one was also really plush and the subtle pops of color were really nice. I found it more difficult to decorate with this particular style since I like to incorporate lots of prints, but if you have a neutral color scheme, this one is great!

Loloi x Rifle Paper Co. Eden Mughal Garden in Black

Rug | Curvy Runner | Wicker Bench

This special rug is part of the Loloi x Rifle Paper Co collection and it’s so beautiful! It’s also the softest Loloi rug I’ve ever had. I don’t have a great photo of it in my space, but it lived in my entryway for the majority of this year. I would recommend this particular color and style in a less high traffic area (the colors started to fade slightly after being walked on constantly with shoes right inside our door).

Loloi x Amber Lewis Georgie in Moss/Salmon

Rug | Headboard | Cane Console | Throw Blanket

Amber Lewis is one of my favorite designers, so naturally, I needed to incorporate a rug from her collection somewhere in my home. I loved the pattern and rich green, burgundy and brown tones of this rug. It goes perfectly in my bedroom to bring just a slight big of color and warmth to my space.

Loloi x Chris Loves Julia Jules in Lagoon/Brick

Rug | Ottomans | Mirror | Candle Hurricane

I am a huge Chris Loves Julia fan, so when I wanted to change things up in my living room and add more color, grabbing one from their collection was a no-brainer. It is similar to the Layla in Spice/Marine but the reverse — so the blue is the primary color with red accents. I can’t say enough good things about this rug. I recently switched it out to promote a new release, but am holding onto it to put back down during spring/summer. If you love decorating with mustard/burnt orange/deep reds.. this one is for you!

Loloi x Amber Lewis Morgan in Denim/Multi

Rug | Coffee Table | Pillow

This is my most recent addition, and dare I say my favorite? The colors are PERFECTION. I have been dying to use this rug ever since I heard about Amber’s newest collection with Loloi, and it’s just as beautiful as predicted. It’s also incredibly soft and comfortable to walk/sit/lay on. I love the darker tones for fall and winter — the navy and salmon color palette is new to me, but I’m excited to play around with some new hues!
