Dreaming of dinner al fresco

One of the things I miss most about having a house is having a backyard to garden and entertain in. While I love city living and wouldn’t trade it for a thing, there’s immense joy to be found in taking a meal out to the patio. Al fresco tablescapes are always a little more whimsical and relaxed… a style I really love creating. Mixed and matched patterns, rattan and organic textures–I live for it!

Even though I don’t currently have an outdoor dining space, it’s not going to stop me from opening up my windows, letting in the spring breeze, and setting a beautiful tablescape. I recently received this stunning block print-inspired tablecloth (it’s for indoor or outdoor use) and it inspired me to inject punches color and pattern into my indoor settings, just as I would outside.

I put together this particular look for a recent campaign with Potterybarn–I’m obsessed with these cutie place card holders and also the bamboo flatware. I’m already excited to restyle these items in different ways and play around with other patterns and textures. Sharing a few of my other favorite outdoor dining inspired items below!
