Weekly happenings vol. 91

Somehow it’s been over a month already since writing my last Currently post… so much for thinking I would get one out weekly! I’m currently sitting at home in Apex, NC after getting home from our weekend trip to our Blowing Rock cabin, and figured there was no time like the present to get one of these out!

Here’s a look at a few things happening over the last couple of weeks..

no. one

I met a girlfriend for the loveliest happy hour at Il Fiorista the other day. It had been on my saved places for months and when we noticed we were right by it, we popped in for a quick drink right when they opened. The space is part flower shop, part restaurant and bar… just my kind of vibe. The live floral installations are breathtaking! *Making a mental note now to go back for dinner during the spring/summer!

no. two

My camera roll is about to be full of a lot more shots like these once morning walks in the park resume! We took a break during the super cold months, but it feels so good to be getting back in our routine with Astor and start our days with strolls in Central Park. He’s made quite a few puppy friends and it’s always so fun to bump into the same ones when we’re out and about.

no. three

I was lucky enough to attend an exclusive event with The Outnet at 11 Howard the other morning and it was so lovely to chat with the team and preview their new spring collection. It’s a great way to shop for on trend designer items at a discounted price. I rounded up some of my favorite finds on my wishlist below!

no. four

After my meeting with The Outnet, I grabbed a quick bite at la Mercerie — the cutest cafe in SoHo. It was a beautiful spring day and one of their sunny booths outside was calling my name. The food is incredible – but the true star of the show is the dinnerware. Everything is severed on Roman and Williams Guild pieces that can be shopped in the store inside the restaurant. You may recognize this dish from my collection – it’s a favorite!

no. five

I shared this on my stories over the weekend, but my obsession with this brand deserves a permanent place on my website. I discovered a new brand called Campo de’ Fiori at my favorite local shop in Blowing Rock, NC called Mustard Seed. The meaning behind the name is “field of flowers” and everything is handmade. I picked up this one to create a little herb garden in (I can’t resist a scalloped edge), but I’m already eyeing this planter and this glass vase
