(First farmer’s market peaches of the year)
This week has been incredible. Apart from starting my new position at Madewell, I feel as if I’ve truly been enjoying my time outside of work. My evenings have been about making time for myself – watching shows I’ve been meaning to start for weeks (Lost in particular), painting my nails a new, refreshing color, and enjoying desserts I’d always admired at the Whole Foods sweets counter. I’ve been making time every couple of nights for an evening run, and just those 20 extra minutes to myself have made me feel more energized and ready for my next day. I’m finishing off the week with a day of wedding crafting today (DIY projects to come the next couple weeks), and spending the remainder of the weekend at work – probably with a couple of much needed lattes in between.
