When giving my newly-painted white bedroom a refresh for spring, I noticed it was lacking in coziness…
I had an empty corner in the bedroom room that was starring me down, begging to be turned into a corner made for cozying up. I pulled inspiration from Joss & Main’s 2022 Trend Report and incorporated some more textures and warmth into the space.
One of their trends, Dream State, really inspired me for the bedroom. It’s all about creating a restful and calm environment that is soft with curves and really inviting. A bedroom, after all, should be the most relaxing room in the home! I love the soft silhouettes of these black vases, and the curves on the shape of this side table.
This extra long throw pillow also makes for the perfect lounging partner. The print is neutral and natural but ties in nicely with my black finishes on my other decor. I think the woven texture adds a nice rustic element to the space.
Another of Joss & Main’s trends for 2022 is garden inspired decor. My bedroom has always felt like a little garden escape with my floral bedding and light fixture – they have so many items on their site that tie in perfectly with this theme! I’m also eyeing these sconces and these rattan chairs for the dining room!
