*This list was kindly hand-selected and written by my husband, Ryan*

1. Nintendo Switch: Marianne and I are very busy people, and whenever we have spare time we like to watch a movie or go for a walk. But sometimes there’s those moments where you have downtime and want to do something more than watch tv or jump on your smart phone. I got this and got sucked into The Legend of Zelda all over again (played it as a kid on SNES and N64), Marianne and I will play Mario Kart, and she will on occasion pick it up and till some crops in Harvest Moon. Best part about this is it’s portable so you can bring it on a road trip, a flight, or toss it in your bag to kill some time before a meeting.

2. Persol Sunglasses: Most guys don’t want sunglasses from Prada, and most guys don’t another pair of RayBans. These are a classic brand with a large line of glasses that never go out of style.

3. Wilson Basketball: If your guy plays basketball, this is one of the best ones you can get (for indoor). I have this ball, I got it after the NCAA Championships earlier this year and after almost a year of use it’s still pristine and seriously helps improve your shot!

4. Settlers of Catan Game: I had never been much of a video game player and whenever I heard of strategy board games I immediately started thinking it was some nerd thing but this game is amazing and a great introduction into strategy games. I was a skeptic at first but now I see the error of m ways.

5. J.Crew Car Coat: Here’s a little known fact… Marianne and I met at J.Crew when she was my manager! Every season they come out with timeless pieces that you can hand down to your children or grandchildren, and this coat is no exception.

6. Hydro Flask Bottle: We have this bottle and I love it. I prefer it to the YETI ones! (MA’s pick)`

7. J.A. Henckels Knife Set: You don’t realize how important a good knife set is until you have one (or lose a finger). I use these knives every day and rarely have to sharpen them, they look great and have a nice weight to them.

8. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Not the old one, the new one. I’m actually terrible at shooter games, I prefer FIFA and Madden. There’s just something about these Call of Duty games that is incredibly fun though I’m definitely not skilled at them by any stretch of the imagination. If you haven’t already endured hours of watching your guy friend playing this game it’s a safe bet that it’s on his wish list.

9. Holiday Pajamas: Nothing beats a cozy pair of new pajamas! I absolutely love this classic buffalo print pair. (MA’s pick)

10. Sennheiser Headphones: They blend great sound quality that you would expect from a name like Sennheiser with style. These are vintage inspired, noise canceling wireless headphones that definitely get lots of compliments. Don’t be caught with Beats, these have superior sound and look so much better.

11. Cuisinart Cookware Set: I like to cook and these pots and pans by Cuisinart not only look great but also are very high quality. If you can swing $1,000 for All Clad, by all means enjoy that set. But for less than $500, these multi clad pots and pans are a steal.

12. Instant Pot: Someone got me this for Secret Santa last year and it’s been one of my most used kitchen items. I like to cook using pots and pans but sometimes you want a delicious meal without having to spend a bunch of time tending to it. This thing is incredible and cooks things that generally take hours in a fraction of the time. You can sell him on the idea of being able to use this to make wings, chili and ribs!

1. Potterybarn Kids Oven | 2. Wooden Breakfast Tray | 3. Converse Sneakers | 4. Dear Zoo Book | 5. Little Unicorn Sleeper | 6. Lilliputs Hairbows | 7. Never Touch a Spider Book | 8. Hanna Andersson Pajamas | 9. LOVEVERY Playkit | 10. Hanna Andersson Dress | 11. Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother | 12. Jellycat Bunny

1. Potterybarn Kids Oven: The cutest playset ever! It’s a splurge item but something that your little one will treasure!

2. Wooden Breakfast Tray: In love with wooden toys for little ones – Hearth & Hand has several great options this year!

3. Converse Sneakers: I bought these for my niece and they are adorable on her!

4. Dear Zoo Book: This is one of my niece’s favorite books!

5. Little Unicorn Sleeper: My sister recommended these – it’s what she uses on my niece.

6. Lilliputs Hairbows: An Etsy shop with an amazing collection of fairly priced bows.

7. Never Touch a Spider Book: A touch and feel book that my niece loves to read!

8. Hanna Andersson Pajamas: The cutest and comfiest pajamas for kids!

9. LOVEVERY Playkit: My niece LOVES these toys. A subscription package would be a great gift to give.

10. Hanna Andersson Dress: SO cute. If you need a dress for a little one, this one is perfect!

11. Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother: My niece has and loves this – it has even almost put me to sleep a few times!

12. Jellycat Bunny: My favorite brand of stuffed animals for kids. They are SO soft!
