I had one of the best days when I turned 24 last year, so I wanted to have a similar birthday this year – just a simple picnic and cookout with loved ones. I thought it would be hard to beat last year’s celebrations, but as usual, my family and Ryan outdid themselves to make me feel incredibly special on my birthday. The day started with a lovely Italian-themed picnic with Ryan, followed by a croquet match, cookout, homemade peach ice-cream, and game night at my parents’ house. The celebrations continued the next day at a friend’s wedding, and ended Sunday by wrapping up the majority of my sister’s wedding planning. Overall, it was an amazing weekend, filled with all the little things that make me happy. Here’s a peak at my turning twenty-five.
