Urban Revival

During the fall and winter, one of my go-to pieces in my wardrobe is my green army jacket. It’s the perfect layer to throw on top of any look, and though during the cooler months its primary function is to provide warmth, I can’t help but fall in love with the added texture and edge it gives an ensemble.

I couldn’t have been happier when I found this version perfect for spring and summer at Anthropologie. I love it styled as I did here over a basic white v-neck tee and denim shorts, but it’s also great thrown over a sundress to give a feminine look a more casual, weekend vibe. It gives that tomboy-chic edge that I love adding to my outfits in the the fall and winter, to my summer looks – without making me too hot.

This vest is definitely a new spring/summer staple in my wardrobe. I suddenly can’t imagine putting together an outfit without bringing this along with me to style on top.
