The Final Touch

 If you’ve been on the hunt for a new timepiece lately, then you may be aware of the overwhelming number of options that are out there. From modern and smart to classic and leather, to gold or rose gold, oversized or dainty and feminine, the options literally feel endless these days. Ironically enough, with the dependance of cell phones and technology, watches, for most, have become a mere accessory, rather than an everyday necessity on which we rely for functionality.

Just because there’s been a shift in our timepiece’s purpose, doesn’t meant that isn’t still a vital part of our wardrobe. The style which you choose to sport on your wrist says more about your personality and sensibility than you could imagine. If you’ve opted for something sleek and timeless, it gives off an air of elegance and sophistication. Wearing a fabric or leather banded watch? It can instantly add a casual element to your ensemble, creating that perfect “no-too-perfect” weekend look we all aspire to have.

That said, it’s safe to acknowledge that watches have transitioned into so much more than just a “pretty face” (pun intended), which is precisely why Fossil’s spring collection of watches caught my eye. Each watch is so intricately designed with a unique and conversation-starting face. I couldn’t help but fall in the love with the sweet sophistication of the Jacqueline Three-Hand Blush Leather Watch. From the blush pink band, to the subtle heart detailing on the face, it’s unlike any timepiece I own, and aligns perfectly with personality and style.
