With every post I’ve written since Spring, it feels like I keep saying that getting dressed this season is all about ease. With every dress and trend I try, I claim it’s the “easiest ever” to wear. And at the time – I always believe it to be true! But then I try something new, and with the blink of an eye, I’ve found my new favorite comfort wear.
What I love about jumpsuits is that they have the ease and comfort of throwing on a dress (does it get much easier than only having to pick out one piece to wear from your closet?), but unlike a dress, it allows you much more freedom to move about, ride bikes, or maybe go for an impromptu paddle boat adventure. After all, isn’t the ability to be carefree and spontaneous what summer is all about?
I love that jumpsuits have evolved from a more fitted leg to following the silhouette of the culottes trend. The legs are wider, more billowy, and give a whole new meaning to casual and comfortable summertime dressing. I’ve included my favorite picks for striped jumpsuits in the gallery below!
