Ombré All Day

I’m so excited today is finally here! In just a few short hours, I will officially be on vacation time and ready to jet off to California. If you’ve been following for a while, you may remember that we took a trip to Northern California last year, exploring San Francisco, Napa, Big Sur, and Yosemite, and we’re headed back this year to spend some time in Southern California!

First up, we’re headed to San Diego and down to Mexico for a day to do some exploring, and then it’s off to Palm Springs! I’ve never been to any of the places we’re going to, so I’m beyond excited and just can’t wait to get there already! In my excitement for our trip to the desert, I’ve found myself unintentionally gravitating towards more boho-styles this past week (it’s like I get an excuse to dress like it’s festival season all over again)! This was one of my absolute favorite looks I wore all week – or maybe even all year!

This midi/maxi skirt from Anthropologie is unlike anything else I’ve ever had in my wardrobe. I usually shy away from maxi skirts being on the shorter side (I’m 5’4), but with this one being cut like a midi in the front and then a maxi on the sides, it’s a style I can completely pull off and not feel like it’s swallowing me whole. I fell in love with the ombré coloring at first sight, but then once I put it on and saw the fit, I knew this one was a keeper.
