As I mentioned last week, a road trip to the cabin is one of my favorite escapes year-round, but especially during the cooler months. Taking the drive to see the changing leaves and cozy up by the fire is textbook fall – the autumn season wouldn’t feel complete with out the trip! The quintessential fall trip calls for a quintessential fall wardrobe, am I right? When I think about snuggling up at the cabin during the fall, my Koolaburra by UGG booties have become something I can’t leave home without!
So often when heading up to the cabin, our weekend can consist of so many unexpected turns – quite literally! When taking the scenic route along the Blue Ridge Parkway, there have been so many times that we will suddenly pull over, and moments later find ourselves embarking on an unplanned hike! The last thing I want to do is not be able to adventure into the unknown because I’m wearing the wrong shoes. Thankfully, these Koolaburra booties saved me during our spontaneous detours.
With temperatures dropping into the upper forties during our trip, it was necessary that I was bundled up and kept warm from my head down to my toes. The fleece lining in these booties was perfect for the cooler temps – not to mention it feels like you’re walking on clouds! Can you imagine a more perfect shoe to adventure in? The best part about these booties was that they aren’t your traditional hiking boot (which are always so clunky and cumbersome), and I could easily transition from our pit-stop hike to our strolls through downtown.
It’s safe to say my Koolaburra booties will be seeing many more adventures in the near future. I opted for the Classic Slim Ankle in black, but I’m also loving this neutral suede, as well as these sweet bow-tie booties and these royal blue slippers. Can you imagine how cute they would be to wear cozied up by the fire? I can’t recommend getting a pair of these booties enough for your own autumn escapes to the wilderness!
