One of my first fashion decisions I ever remember making was the decision that olive green was one of my favorite colors to wear. I remember at a very young age categorizing the hue as a neutral, something that could be worn with just about anything else, and I have been wearing it ever since. Whether it be a dress, jacket, blouse, or in this case, a pair of shorts, I completely love the African Safari or jungle vibe it instantly gives a look.

I knew immediately to complete the look I wanted to add another safari inspired element. When I spotted this lace up tunic from Anthropologie at Durham, I couldn’t resist! Did I mention it’s on sale for less than $50? I love how the two compliment each other. I may not be headed on a jungle adventure anytime soon, but I certainly don’t mind dressing the part!
