Weekday mornings are always a challenge for me – to stay in bed and sleep in or to get up in time to do something with my hair other than throw it into a ponytail? It’s a never-ending battle! Usually, sleeping in wins. That was, until T3 Micro sent me their new featherweight compact blow dryer and straightener set to test out. At first I was a bit skeptical as to how much I would actually use it – having long hair I’ve always been an advocate of letting it air dry, as blow drying either took way too long, or left my hair a frizzy mess.
After just one use of their compact featherweight tools, I was a total convert. I went into my first use assuming that because the products were smaller, that meant it would take me longer to blow dry and style my hair. Boy, was I wrong! My blow drying time was cut in half, if not more! I’m not sure how such a small tool could be so powerful, but it’s safe to say I’m obsessed. Apart from quick drying time, I also couldn’t get over how silky smooth my hair was left feeling. Talk about getting a professional blowout from the comfort of your own home every morning! 🙂
After a quick blow dry, all I needed was to straighten out the tips of my hair, and I was good to go for the day. A routine that used to take me over an hour (between blow drying and a full straightening job) now is done in about 15 minutes. The best part of it all? Nothing has to change when I travel! The compact set is, well, compact enough to fit in my luggage without a problem, and doesn’t weigh it down too much. It’s a win-win when you find a tool meant for travel that’s suited for everyday use as well! You can find both the blow dryer and the straightener in the scrollbar below.
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Though weekends never feel long enough, I actually think Ryan and I made the most of the time we had this weekend. I cooked an old family favorite recipe for him on Friday night, and we cozied up to binge watch Homeland for the rest of the evening (still can’t believe I’ve never watched that show until recently). We spent the rest of the weekend unpacking, going for a walk in our new neighborhood, and eating at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Downtown Apex. This week, I’m looking forward to continuing to get in a routine with things (blogging included), and tackle the last of our boxes. I’m so ready to be unpacked so the fun part (decorating) can start!
