What’s in My Shopping Cart for Fall

With Labor Day long behind us, it feels like fall is finally here! Though I know the official start isn’t for another week, that doesn’t keep me from starting to do a little online shopping to help prep my wardrobe for the cooler months ahead. Upon returning home from NYFW, I was completely inspired by all of the street style trends I saw my fellow influencers wearing. Much to my surprise, I was influenced myself to give a couple of trends I’d been resisting a try.

Click through below to see which trends I’m looking forward to embracing this autumn – which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

LEOPARD PRINT SKIRTS & DRESSES

If you saw my post from NYFW, it may come as no shock to you that I’m adding all things leopard into my shopping cart this season. I’ve never been a fan of the print in the past, but I’m loving this season’s flowy leopard skirts and dresses.

GOLD LAYERING PIECES

Layering delicate gold chains has been in style for a while now, but I’m obsessing over the most recent pieces from Tohum and ChloĆ©. I’m all about investing in high quality pieces right now that will last me for seasons to come.

CHUNKY SNEAKERS

I’ll be honest – I despised this trend the first time I saw it. It wasn’t until seeing how effortlessly-chic dad sneakers paired with feminine dresses looked at NYFW that I decided I could get on board with this trend. Though I definitely won’t be investing in a $1k designer pair, I did find several affordable options that will allow me to test the trend this fall.

STRONG SUITING

Though I’ve never had a career that required me to wear a suit, that has never stopped me from loving the look. A coordinating set has always been one of the most polished and sophisticated looks. I love the idea of giving the suit a fun twist this fall, and opting for a plaid pant suit instead or basic black.
