Spring florals: my favorites

I have an undeniable love for flowers–I’m pretty sure they are one of the reasons I love interior styling. I always consider them the finishing touch to a room. Different flowers can completely influence the mood of a space. I love how such a small detail can make a massive impact on the way a space is perceived.

During the spring, I love to play with florals that more whimsy and wild… a lot of varieties that remind you of a bouquet you picked while walking through an open field. Of course I love classics like tulips and lilacs also–but queen anne’s lace, blue lace and scabiosa will alway shave a special place in my heart. My rule of thumb for my spring arrangements–two thirds greenery, and then a 2-3 different types of blooms popped in (though there is no right or wrong way!). If you’re in NYC, I usually get my flowers from Dutch Flower Line in the floral district.

I’ve listed out my favorites below and linked to a page where you can see a photo of them. That way, you can keep an eye out next time you’re on the search for some fresh blooms!

Spring / queen anne’s lace, sweet peas, scabiosa, daffodils, grape hyacinth, pistashe foliage, garden rose, italian ruscus, parrot & fringed tulips, globe amaranth, kumquats, lilacs, little lime hydrangea, blue lace flower
