Except when it comes to your skin. I’ve spoken about this several times in the past, but with my 30th birthday on the horizon, aging is continuously becoming more front of mind. Makeup
I had never given any thought to adding SPF into my daily routine through my makeup until I received these Shimmershade Eyeshadows from Supergoop!. Did you know that 5-10% of skin cancer is found on your eye area? I now use them daily! It doesn’t hurt that the shades are GORGEOUS and go on super smooth. It got me looking into other makeup options as well. This matte finish Setting Powder comes in four shades and has an SPF 45 and this CC Cream includes sunscreen. I can see it being perfect for a day by the pool if you want an option with a little bit of extra coverage, but don’t want to pile on the makeup. I’m also upgrading my lip balm to this Shine On Lip Screen ASAP.
Body Care
So we’ve got the face covered, but what about the rest of us? You better believe Supergoop! has plenty of options for your body too. My favorites are this Anti-oxidant Infused plus Vitamin C Spray Sunscreen, and this Sun-Defying Sunscreen Oil for days when my skin needs a little extra hydration. Both have SPF 50 and are water-resistant. Another one of my favorite finds is this Poof 100% Mineral Part and Scalp Powder with SPF 45. I can’t even count how many times I’ve burnt my scalp and now there’s a solution for it! Added bonus: it works like a dry shampoo fighting oiliness and adding volume all day long. SO genius!
