“We believe we can all make a difference.” – Everlane
I recently posted on Instagram that I’m trying to be more conscious of the pieces I add into my wardrobe. That means not only investing in quality items, but also being more aware of the types of companies I support. Though I’ll probably still have the occasional Zara purchase from time to time, it’s becoming increasingly important to me that I purchase from sustainable and eco-friendly brands. One of my favorite companies to support at the moment is Everlane – they believe in “exceptional quality,
ethical factories and radical transparency.” Everlane as worked to source some of the best factories to product the highest quality pieces.
I started off with a few basics (they do the BEST basics!) – a boxy white tee, a black bodysuit, straight leg denim, and a pair of everyday classic pumps. I can not get over how high quality these pieces are! If you take a look at my daily outfits, you’ll notice that the white tee has been on constant repeat. Everything wears and washes so well, is so comfortable, and have become serious staples in my wardrobe. I’m adding a couple more of the tees to my collection, and will be grabbing another wash of the denim for fall and winter. It feels good to find clothes that not only look good, but also do good.
