Suit up and meet me at the beach…
Summer isn’t even officially here yet, but I’ve already made my first trip to the coast and have a feeling there will be many more to come this year. Fun fact: I actually spent my college years at the beach – and had a swim collection to show for it. However, it’s safe to say my style (and swim styles in general) have evolved tremendously over the last decade.
I’ve since started from scratch with my swim wardrobe. These days, I find myself gravitating towards more modest, vintage inspired pieces. I’m in a one-piece suit most of the time, but I do love a good high-waisted retro inspired bikini from time to time.
There are a few brands I always gravitate to when shopping swim. I became obsessed with Albion a few years ago (pictured here) – they are my go-to for full coverage suits! I also love the silhouettes by Faithfull the Brand, Onia, Solid & Striped, and Hunza G.
These suits are a little on the pricier side, but I can get behind it when I find suits that make me feel like I’m my most confident self when I’m also the most exposed. Scroll through below to shop some of my favorites this season!
