I can’t believe it’s already July! It seems like last week that I was writing the Currently post for June. It has been a super busy but exciting month – from turning 30 and having the best birthday celebrations, to taking quick weekend getaways to both Asheville and upstate New York, it was jam packed.
Apart from our travels, our sole focus has been on our home renovation. We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with our kitchen – we are just waiting on our hardware to arrive and will be wrapping up our island transformation in a couple of weeks. So exciting!
I painted our dining room on a whim last week, and it has me inspired to get that room finished as well. I can’t believe I’m already saying this, but as we approach all of the celebrations during the back half of the year, it would be nice to have a more formal place to gather. Other than home renovations, I’ve also been spending lots of time trying to organize and minimize. Right now, I’m focusing on creating a more capsule style wardrobe (I’ll be selling lots on Poshmark: mkv7550 over the next few weeks). I’m looking forward to slowing down over the next month, enjoying the summer days, and recharging for a busy fall! x Marianne
