As you may have seen by way of my Instagram, we took a quick trip north this past weekend up to Williamsburg, Virginia. It was the most perfect weekend escape to take in the colors of fall! The colors had just started to change into burnt oranges and bright reds, and the weather had just the right amount of chill in the air. It was a weekend full of playing tourist around Colonial Williamsburg, enjoying cute cafes, and of course, doing a little thrill seeking at Busch Garden’s Howl-O-Scream.

This suede mini and sheer beige blouse have quickly become a couple of my favorite go-to’s for fall. They are so easy to throw on, but still look pulled together. It was perfect for a morning around town. To dress the look up a bit, I paired it with these Carolee necklaces. They are the perfect pieces to travel with because they can be worn in so many ways! Mix and match them, layer them, double or triple them up, or even wear the plain one as a bracelet!

When packing for a trip, I’m always conscious of selecting pieces that are versatile and can be worn several ways with all the other items in my suitcase. These necklaces are just that – and will be sure to make the cut from here on out when I’m packing for a trip. Be sure to check out the other color options on Carolee’s site!

I am really loving button front skirts lately. This one looks so comfortable! I have always wanted bangs but my hair is so thin I don’t think it would look ok. In fact, way back in middle school I had bangs cut in and then spent 2 years waiting for them to grow out. ♡♡
