Welcome back after a long weekend away! Hope everyone had a relaxing last unofficial weekend of summer. I spent most of my time either relaxing, walking around town enjoying the cooler weather we had in Raleigh, or packing for the adventure we’re about to take off on this week! I wore this look out on Saturday morning to go grab some breakfast from Yellow Dog Bread Company, one of my favorite places in downtown Raleigh. Their rosemary + sea salt scone is to die for!
As soon as I found this vest at Anthropologie at Durham, I knew it had to come home with me! Though temperatures at the time were still blazing in the 90’s, I knew I would soon find a morning cool enough to throw it on. This high neck tank and textured pair of Pilcro pants were the perfect pieces to pair with it. Though the vest did eventually have to come off once it warmed up, the color scheme and rich textures of the rest of the look kept me in the fall mindset for the rest of the day!
We head out tomorrow night for a super exciting trip – we’re off to NYFW! I absolutely can’t wait to see the collections first hand and share it with all of you.
