Valentine’s Day Gift Guide: For Him

If you’ve got a special someone in  your life to celebrate Valentine’s Day with, then you are probably already on the lookout for something to give. Finding a thoughtful gift can sometimes be difficult. I often struggle with finding the balance between something he actually wants and will use, and giving something that is special and speaks to our relationship. Although Ryan and I are foregoing Valentine’s Day this year, here is a round-up of some ideas of what I would have potentially given him.

1. Barefoot Dreams ‘CozyChic’ Ribbed Blanket: Because no guy is too manly to cuddle up under one of these with you. ($176)

2. Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker: And then let him be in charge of the music (for a while, at least). ($129)

3. Crosley Radio ‘Executive’ USB Turntable: Pick him up a record with a special meaning for you two to go along with it. ($110)

4. Herschel Supply Co. ‘Novel’ Duffel Bag: Add some socks or new boxers inside for an extra surprise. ($80)

5. Achipelago Botanicals Signature Soy Wax Candles: He likes candles too, don’t let him fool you. These are masculine enough for him, too. ($24)

6. Nike ‘Lunarglide 6’ Running Shoe: Promise to go to the gym with him a couple times a week. ($110)

7. Beardbrand ‘Four Vices’ Beardsman’s Kit: Help him keep up his hygiene in style. ($215)

8. PLAY Comme des GARÇONS red heart button-down: Nothing says Valentine’s Day quite like this. ($270)

9. HAN KJØBENHAVN timeless sunglasses: I promise not to tell if these are secretly for you to steal. ($145)

10. How to Be a Man by Glenn O’Brien: If all else fails, give him something fun and witty that you’ll both get a few laughs out of. ($28)
