Every summer it’s inevitable that I fall prey to at least one trend. Whether it be 90’s slip dresses or cut-out dresses, I can always look back on each summer and link it to a specific fashion trend. Becoming obsessed with one trend in particular this summer, however, was easier than ever. It was actually love at first sight – and then began the hunt to find just the perfect piece to add to my Summer 2017 Wardrobe.
What was this infactuating item, you may ask? Well, let me introduce you to the ruffle midi. Ever since I saw my first one on Atlantic Pacific (my OG Blogger Icon), I knew I needed one for myself for summer travels. But then the questions started to arise – to go with classic white or colored and striped? As soon as I saw this micro-striped version from Chicwish paired with an ultra femme delicate lace crop top, I knew my search had come to an end.
I have an incredibly exciting (and bucket-list worthy) trip planned for the beginning of next month, and I know this ruffle mdi will make the cut for my weekend getaway.
