Oh my goodness – anyone else completely drooling over Paris Couture Week right now? I know I am! With every show and presentation I see, I fall more and more in love with every single collection. Each one is so elaborate and intricate – these pieces coming down the runway are truly works of art. If I’m being honest, they aren’t things I could wear in my every day life, but just watching these shows and admiring the elegance from afar lets me live in a fantasy land for just a few minutes. It’s such a dream!
Though all the shows have literally left me in such awe, I have to say that Elie Saab has always been a front runner in my book. I’ve always joked to Ryan that if I could, I would get married in an Elie Saab dress – I’m that obsessed! This most recent collection is nothing short of absolutely stunning. Between the abundance of lace, victorian necklines, delicate beading, the chicest leather belts, and sheer fabrics everywhere, I don’t know that it could have been more perfect. The collection is everything I love all wrapped up into one ultra-femme package. (See the full collection here).
Unfortunately as the snow has melted this week, I no longer have the excuse to sit cozied up on my couch and watch show after show, but it hasn’t stopped me from getting endless amounts of inspiration from snaps after the fact! And to think.. this is just the beginning of fashion weeks. It’s the best time of year yet again!
