As you’re probably aware by now, the east coast saw quite the snowstorm over the weekend. Luckily down in North Carolina, we got just enough snow and ice that we were forced to stay put and be cuddled up, but we could still go out and play in the snow – and yes, snow angels were involved. You may have seen by way of my Instagram that I practically lived in this cape this past weekend. Whether it was cozied up inside with leggings and a chunky sweater, or while I was out frolicking in the snow, this was my go-to. Even when I was bundled in my heaviest down parka, this cape was perfect to throw on top. It’s thicker and covers more area than a blanket scarf – just what I needed for my snow-ventures!
I had the best weekend out playing in the snow – I absolutely love how crisp and clean everything looks when it’s covered in a blanket of white. I’m looking forward to an upcoming trip to the mountains (where hopefully we will have snow), but other than that, now that I’ve had my snow days for the year, my sights are now officially set on spring and sunshine!
