Shoes of the Season

springshoes

I spent the better half of yesterday searching for the perfect pair of shoes for my sister’s upcoming wedding. Admittedly, I may have been slightly (or entirely) distracted by all of this season’s styles. As an outlet for my shoe-ADD, I narrowed my favorites list down to just a few that I could easily see myself slipping of for all my my springtime activities. Some of what I gravitated towards surprised even me, but I like that what I have selected is an eclectic mix, and if all these shoes lived in my closet, I would have a shoe for every occasion this spring.

1. A pair of easy, comfort shoes to throw on with cut-offs, boyfriend jeans, and even the occasional floral print dress. ($90)

2. A neutral slip-on sandal that will be sure to go with everything in my closet, perfect for runs to the farmer’s market or a day at the beach. ($125)

3. A closed-toe pump whose perforation makes it light and cool enough to wear through spring and summer. ($350)

4. A shoe that I don’t necessarily have a specific use for, but is gorgeous and would easily dress up any cocktail dress for a spring wedding or event. ($94)

5. Kate Spade does casual: and for that reason I need these sneakers for every picnic, bike ride, and park visit I have this spring. ($75)

6. Bringing back my teenage years with a classic I used to rock all day, every day. ($65)

7. A pointy-toe flat with just a touch of metallic that can go casual or dressy, making the perfect one-flat-fits-all. ($258)

8. A slouchy ankle boot that’s just right for chilly spring evenings on the porch or making smokes around the cabin bonfire. ($295)
