This weekend was absolutely perfect. The weather was in the 60’s and sunny – so despite my ghostly white legs, I took full advantage and pulled out some of my pieces I’ve been waiting to wear for spring. I spent the day on Saturday grabbing brunch at one of my favorite places downtown, taking in the sunshine, picking up some fresh flowers, and walking around downtown.
Something about the sun shining and the warmer weather suddenly lifts my spirits and motivates me to do even more. I no longer want to sit on my couch all day, but I want to be out exploring the city, sitting outside for dinner, or spending time with friends. I’m sure this Saturday was only the beginning of an exciting spring and summer season, but I already can’t wait for more perfect weekends like this one.
