Happy Friday! This week has definitely felt like one of the longest in a while! I’m pretty sure the days are starting to drag as we’re getting closer and closer to our exciting vacation coming up at the end of this month. It’s a trip I’ve been dreaming of taking pretty much my whole life, so the anticipation is high to say the least. I’ll be sharing more about our upcoming adventures next week, so stay tuned!
I’m loving this fun play on the iconic “school-girl” look. My obsession with the style started last year when I started carrying my Pixie Mood backpack around with me everywhere, and it’s safe to say I’ve now discovered other aspects of the trend that I’m adapting into my wardrobe this fall. First up: plaid – but not in a cowboy/hillbilly kind of way. A mini version of the print (as seen in this side-tie mini skirt) is incredibly chic and sophisticated without being overwhelming.
I chose to keep the look simple with the comfiest white tee, my favorite booties, and this velvet choker I can’t stop wearing, but I could also see the skirt pairing well with a classic white oxford to up the twist on the uniform look even more.
