I can never remember what holiday it is that my family always serves these at (whether it’s Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, or Easter), but it’s one of my most anticipated meals of the year. I’m Italian, so naturally I never deny myself a good dinner roll. These, however, are so much more than that. There is something about the texture, the hallow inside, and the perfect amount of doughiness that beats out all of the competition. I never realized how simple these are to make, and now that I have, they will surely become a staple side for dinners in my house more than once a year.
