What a whirlwind of a week it’s been! I feel like I’ve blinked and it’s almost the weekend. Between prepping for an exciting getaway this weekend, and getting to take part in Anthropologie at North Hills’ fashion show last night, I’ve had my hands full! You may have seen a little sneak peek of the show last night on snapchat (@maverrilli), but just incase you missed it, stay tuned as I’ll be doing a little recap of it on the blog next week!
I’m especially excited for the weekend this week, as Ryan and I are heading off to one of my favorite places. I went down to Charleston, SC for work a few years ago – to this day it’s still one of the only trips I’ve ever taken completely on my own. I have such peaceful memories of waking up early to walk down on the boardwalk to take in the sunrise, and then getting lost along the rows of pastel colored houses in the afternoon.
It was truly one of those trips where I felt like I discovered a little missing part of myself. It may have been the time spent reflecting alone, or it may have been the endless palms and glorious sunshine. Either way, I couldn’t be happier to be returning to Charleston to celebrate a friend’s birthday this weekend. After a week full of ups and downs, going back to one of the places that has inspired me from the beginning is just what I need!
