Parisian Influences

It’s no secret that I’ve always been influenced by the Parisian style. With each look I curate, it’s not unusual for me to pretend I’m stepping out onto the streets of Paris when I walk out the door. Though the smell of freshly baked baguettes and cute corner cafes won’t be greeting me when I do, it still keeps me hopeful that I’ll make it to Paris someday. With that in mind, I always try to add at least one element to a look that would feel fitting in France.

The secret to a French girl’s style is to always be effortlessly chic. Choosing simple pieces that coordinate well together to look polished, but not over done. I have always loved the look of a simple black sweater with a crisp white collar – you can never go wrong with black and white, right? It’s such a classic and timeless look! This look is one I’ve dreamed up for ages, but was waiting to find just the right separates to make it happen. I’m fairly certain that all of these will be staples in my wardrobe for years to come!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend – I’m off to a wedding tomorrow and looking forward to celebrating Mother’s Day at home this weekend! Be sure to follow along on Instagram and Snapchat (MAVERRILLI) for a behind the scenes look at what I get into over the weekend!
