I spent this past weekend in the mountains with my family and Ryan. It was the most relaxing weekend (white-water rafting included – which turned out to be much less dangerous and way more enjoyable than I had anticipated). On our way out yesterday, we pulled over at this gorgeous overlook of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and in the 20 minutes we were there, the fog rolled in so heavy that it quickly became impossible to see the view. But something about watching the thick white clouds settle down upon us was both eerie and beautiful, and those few moments were a wonderful way to close out the weekend.
