Weekly happenings vol. 59

(An amazing indulgence shared with the most wonderful of company this past weekend)

I’ve had a (not so) secret countdown to today for the last couple of months – it’s finally the day I leave for my girls’ getaway to the mountains with my mom. Though it’s a trip we take every year, it never gets old, and somehow, each year, I bring home more memories than the last. It doesn’t usually consist of too much adventure, but it will include shopping, sightseeing in the mountains, hiking, and waking up at 7am just to sit on the porch and drink coffee. We will be having brunch at one of my favorite cafes, as well as getting the house decorated for fall, and I can’t wait to get up there this afternoon to the vacation started.
