I’ve mentioned before that I always seem to be low on breakfast foods in my house. Thanks to my recent weekly trips to La Farm Bakery for breakfast, my taste buds have become accustomed to having a sweet and savory pastry for breakfast. I wanted to make something that felt like winter, but didn’t scream cinnamon bun covered in icing. Instead, I opted for these, a grown of version of a sticky roll, consisting of cranberries, fresh orange zest, and orange flavored icing drizzled on top. It was my first time using active dry yeast (which I have to say was much less daunting than I had built it up to be in my head), and the wait for the yeast to rise was well worth the end result.
