Some weekends, I look forward to getting to dress up and get out of my normal weekday work clothes. I can’t wait to get home Friday evening and put on a flirty little dress for date night, or slip into a fun ensemble for a Saturday morning coffee date. On the other hand, there are also some weekends that all I want to do by Friday at 5pm is put on my coziest sweater, leggings, and curl up on my couch with my fur babies.
This past weekend, I realized it didn’t have to be one or the other. This outfit was the most perfect ever for running around town on Sunday. I threw on this turtleneck in the morning – it seriously is the softest, most pajama-like sweater! It’s made out of a sweatshirt material, and I love that it’s long, but even longer in the back! Paired with ultra-chic faux leather leggings (that are actually surprisingly comfortable and stretchy), I couldn’t have felt more casual and like I was in fact wearing my “relaxed weekend” wear, but polished off with a bootie and a sleek black bag, I actually managed to look somewhat pulled together with little effort.
After this weekend, I’m definitely feeling like this will become my Friday-Sunday uniform until the weather warms up. I was so cozy and comfy! Be sure to head over to Nordstrom and check out this sweater – it comes in SO many pretty colors and really is a wardrobe staple (I wear it almost every week)!
