California Travel Diary // Part 2

I’m finally back home! Although I was only gone a week, we were able to pack so many adventures in. The last half of my trip ended in Yosemite and San Francisco. We took an overnight trip up to Yosemite – the sights are amazing! There are no pictures that can do it justice. Between encountering a bear (I may have been pretty terrified), and sleeping in a hut in the middle of the woods, it was definitely one of the more adventurous things I had ever done.

We headed up to San Francisco for the last part of our trip. We checked into the gorgeous Palace Hotel and headed straight for the fisherman’s wharf and the Ferry Building, and ate at Hog Island Oysters (a highlight of my trip). Between the quaint little corners and the endless supply of amazing restaurants and coffee shops, I became a fan of San Francisco pretty quickly. Here are a few snaps from the second half of my trip!

Marianne, the photos from your are so gorgeous! I ran into Ryan last night, and we promised each other that the four of us would go to dinner and catch up within the next month. I also told him that I am absolutely obsessed with your blog. (So true! Can I have your life?) I can’t wait to hear about the trip and catch up! Let’s make it happen soon!

What an adventure! Glad you and Ryan had a fun time. You need to tell me more about Yosemite. It’s on my bucket list.
