As I mentioned on my Instagram last week, I’ve been having a serious love affair with Anthropologie’s dresses this season! I’m usually impressed with their dress shop selection, but ever since teaming up with the amazing group of stylists at Anthropologie in Durham, I’ve fallen even more in love! They’ve been introducing me to styles completely out of my norm (super feminine and flirty), just in time for festival season!
I promised on the blog last week I’d be sharing several Coachella inspired looks that are sophisticated yet have that festival boho flair. Gone are the days of cut offs and belly shirts – it’s time to turn festival dressing into a more elevated affair! This week, I’ll be sharing five of my favorites looks – all found at Anthropologie, and how I made them my own through accessories for festival season.
First up, this adorable little white dress. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was perfect. I mean, hello breezy white sundress! Exactly my style, right? But then I realized I could take something like this dress that I usually would dress up, and make it festival chic. I started piling on the jewels, and finished the look off with gold-heeled sandals and my favorite retro sunnies (seriously can’t stop wearing these). Just by switching out my traditional accessories, I was able to take a sweet dress that I would typically dress up, and turn it into something that is totally festival appropriate yet elevated.
