In an effort to actually make it through this year’s spring to-do list, I decided to start working on checking another item off the list. One of my goals was to become more of a hair and beauty aficionado, so starting with the less intimidating of those two, I decided to give some new hairstyles a whirl.
My hair style for the last few years has remained basically the same – down and curly. With the help of Instagram, Pinterest, and blog tutorials (particularly the Barefoot Blonde), I’ve been able to start venturing out. A basic braid has definitely stood out to me as a clear front runner of favorite styles. They aren’t fussy, are pretty easy to do, and adds a touch of little school-girl innocence to your look.
